happy Robin is set to bring sexy swing back! With caressing tones reminiscent of the old crooners, and his boy-next-door charm, Robin Goh (Chang & Eng, Aladdin, Asian Boys Vol 3) will offer his perspective on rhythm and the blues.

Join Singapore’s answer to Sinatra, as he goes goes a be-bop-a-boppin and tip-tap-a-tappin along with his big band of musicians. He’ll take you on a musical journey - from Jazz to Blues to Swing - from the highs to the lows, and ending somewhere over the rainbow…

This little Robin with a great big, PINK heart, is coming out at a theatre near you! Come swing along!

Esplanade Presents
The PIANO funnyMAN

Hossan Leong
Singapore
27 & 28 Jun 08, Fri & Sat, 7.30pm, 9.30pm
Recital Studio
Esplanade Presents

You’ve heard of Billy Joel, Elton John and Barry Manilow. Now brace yourself for Singapore’s very own Piano funnyMAN, Hossan Leong! He will tickle those little notes on that ebony and ivory, serenade you with life’s funny little realities (and ironies) and tease you into submission. From pop and jazz to broadway and classical, Hossan oozes musical talent like no other.

One of Singapore’s most popular and successful television and theatre actors, Hossan has earned an impressive array of awards and reviews. He is well known for his stand-up comedy routines, Hossan, LIVE! and was recently seen in Dim Sum Dollies in The History of Singapore, It Takes Two and his one-man, stand-up comedy extravaganza, Multiple Personalities Disorder among many others. Hossan made his directorial debut in Sydney in 2003 where he directed Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Flower Drum Song. In 2006, he produced, directed and starred in Best Served Cold, a murder-mystery dinner theatre piece for the World Gourmet Summit.

Watch out Liberace fans, the PIANO funnyMAN is going to be a musical feast on a baby grand!

Chrismas in Sydney!

WOW I so needed this break!

Here I am in Sydney. The weather is wonderful, a bit cloudy but cool and sunny. It’s been great just eating and pigging out with my partner’s family, and catching up with old friends.

Tomorrow we head up north to Nelson Bay to spend time with my in-laws for a few days then it’s back to Sydney for Christmas!

Can’t wait to see my partner’s face when the present I bought gets opened!!!

Here’s wishing all of you a wonderful Christmas and a fabulous year ahead. Catch you all on 2nd January 2008 at 7am!

Love,

Hossan

A Crazy Christmas!

This concert that we’re doing runs from Now till 9th Dec. And on the 9th, we have Philippines’ Michael de Mesa guest starring with us on stage!

 Get your tickets quick! www.sistic.com.sg

See you at the Drama Centre.

Stealing petrol???

You know I can’t believe what I read in the paper. People driving off after filling their tanks and NOT paying!

How bad is it getting? Cost of living rising beyond our means or people just getting more irresponsible?

Who pays for the theft if the driver gets away? The pump attendant (poor thing!) or the Petrol Company?

I can’t wait for my Christmas Break! Got my partner a FABULOUS Christmas present and I can’t wait to see the

face when the present is opened!

IT’s time once again for…

Let it SNOW! Christmas is round the corner and the goose is getting fat!

My crazy friends and I are doing a concert called Crazy Christmas from 28th Nov to 9th Dec 2007 at the Drama Centre.

We’re having a special matinee show on Sundays for foreign workers in Singapore…psst! Michael de Mesa is making a special appearance! Tickets at $2 only, show your Work Permit!
